Female Athlete of the Year: Peterborough- Simone Roesink

Simone is a second year member of the women’s basketball and rugby teams and is from Alma, Ontario.  Simone is in the Fitness, Health and Promotion program and she has had tremendous success in her second year:

• OCAA athlete of the week 2013- Women’s rugby
• OCAA team bronze medallist- Women’s rugby
• John Wooten Character award recipient for Women’s Basketball

She is a very dedicated and committed person who is a tremendous leader on the team. Simone has been a tremendous role model and representative for Fleming and is truly worthy of this prestigious award.
