Durham College women’s basketball kicks off “College Blackout Night” at the GM Centre
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Oshawa Power of the National Basketball League of Canada will be hosting “College Blackout Night” at the General Motors Centre on Wednesday, March 6, as the Power take on the visiting Winsor Express at 7 p.m.
Prior to the Power game, the Durham College women’s basketball team will take to the court as they host the Fleming Knights at 4:30 p.m. in an Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) exhibition game.
Students and staff who present a valid ID at the box office to receive a $7 student ticket in the lower bowl section. Let the box office know what school you attend, and receive a ticket for that designated section. Students are encouraged to make signs, wear black or their school colours and to be loud!
Former Durham College basketball standout Courtney Small is in his first year with the Power, as they are the third ranked team in the league.
