Congratulations to the Fleming College Athletics and Recreation Department for having the highest KPI scores in the province.
The Fleming College Athletics and Recreation department received a 75.2% satisfaction rate, exceeding the system average of 64.8%. Following closely behind is Loyalist College with 74.8%, and Durham College with 74.1%.
2011 – 2012 was a great year for Fleming College’s Athletic and Recreation Department. Highlights include:
-Highest KPI results in the province
– Ranked 7th in the history of the OCAA for medal standings
– 91.7% vote in agreement for new turf fields which will be ready for the 2013 – 2014 school year
– Completion of payment for The Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre
– Hosting of a successful national championship (CCAA Curling Championships)
– Hosting of another successful CILA Loggersports Competition
– Hosting of successful OCAA tournaments including the All Star Volleyball tournament, and the Cross Country Invitational
– Amalgamation of the Frost and Brealey Varsity teams
– Over 1680 students registered for intramural sports in 23 leagues
– Increase in committed scholarship funds for varsity athletes
– A new entrance at the Frost Field House
The Fleming Athletics and Recreation Staff did an excellent job this year and we look forward to another exciting year for the 2012 – 2013 season!
